Earlscroft Farm is situated next to the Cowbridge Drain. During the fishing season anglers regulalry catch Bream, Roach, Tench and Pike. As a county Lincolnshire has some of the best 'fish filled' angling venues in the country.
A recent night session, right opposite the holiday cottage, yielded over 100lbs of bream. Sweetcorn and worm did the trick. Click for a picture of the catch.

bream, pike, chub, dace, barbell, rudd, trout…. So much choice and good
sport, too. Many British rod records are broken in Lincolnshire.
Crossed and divided by rivers, canals, dykes and brooks is only one
part of it… there are lakes and ponds, managed and protected to improve
facilities and habitat, restocking and policing – don’t forget your
licence! – all in all it’s a magnet for anglers.
If you fancied some sea fishing, the coast is only a short drive away.
